The Sea Lion Park currently under construction. Melaka CM Said at the press recently that The Sea Lion Project is 40% completed. The Park will have 1500 seating capacity and one pool for the sea lion show. The concept of the park will be similar like one in Singapore , The Lagoon Park.

Ikan lumba-lumba tarikan baru ke Melaka

MELAKA 29 Sept. – Melaka yang terkenal kerana kepelbagaian produk pelancongan diiktiraf dunia kini mempunyai daya tarikan baru dengan kedatangan dua ekor anjing laut dan ikan lumba-lumba.

Ketua Menteri, Datuk Seri Mohd. Ali Rustam berkata, kawasan seluas 1.2 hektar di Pulau Melaka sedang dibangunkan untuk tujuan tersebut melibatkan keseluruhan perbelanjaan berjumlah RM30 juta.

Menurutnya, bagi peringkat pertama, pembinaan Taman Sealion bagi pertunjukkan anjing laut dijangka siap pada 15 November ini manakala kolam bagi ikan lumba-lumba pula siap sepenuhnya penghujung tahun depan.

”Kedua-dua produk terbaru yang diperkenalkan oleh kerajaan negeri dengan kerjasama syarikat Putri Indo Empat Lestari Sdn. Bhd. akan menambah tarikan pelancong ke negeri ini.
