Melaka don’t have a Railway Station

Melaka don’t have a Railway Station

October 18, 2010
Malaysia, Melaka, transport

One type of infamous transportation to Melaka is using a Train. Although Melaka don’t have a main Railway Station, it’s still an option for you. For those who don’t have time constrain and the hassle of going to the main point.

This is because the nearest Station to enter Melaka is from Tampin. Tampin is in Negeri Sembilan state and 38km North of Melaka Town. If you feel 38km is to low for you and think that you can reach Melaka Sentral in half and hour, think again because it’s an Inland Road with mix terrain.

You will have to opt for local buses, very old school and nostalgic. Your air cond will be the fresh air. You can read more about Tampin Railway Station at our friend blog here.

Buggy Sunday

Buggy Sunday

October 18, 2010
Melaka, eco-tourism, interesting place

Loook Ma, no feet..

If you don’t know what else to do with your kids and your live around Ayer Keroh area, why not buggy riding with them at the Botanical Garden Buggy Ride. Best time is early in the morning when the air is from the recreational forest is fresh and the sun is not too hot.

Don’t worry as there are plenty of ride for you to choose, just the 4 seat buggy are limited. So That Sunday we choose to have 2 seat buggy and another one seat. For example I have 2 kids, I drive the one seat buggy, and my husband drive the 2 seat buggy with the kids. With the 2 seat buggy the configuration are, my elder 4yrs daughter sat at the back and my 2 yrs son sat at front with his father. His father is more confident on handling the machine.

Not for road use…

We can choose the 4 seat buggy but it’s not to dramatic. With 2 buggy you can race to the end and the kids will love it. This electric powered vehicle is easy to operate. I think even a 10 years old can handle it because you don’t need to use your feet. Just both hand, actually even using one hand you can drive it.

It’s slow and safe. But just for 30mins ride. Single seat for RM10 and double are RM18. The Station just beside Botanical Cafe.

Just single handed operating procedure.
