Tampin Recreational Park

“Home to several species of fowls and birds, the Tampin Recreational Park also houses longtailed monkeys, porcupines, swans, peacocks and ducks.”

It is refreshing to find green and shady trees in the middle of Tampin town. Home to several species of fowls and birds, the Tampin Recreational Park also houses longtailed monkeys, porcupines, swans, peacocks and ducks. Your arrival will be greeted by loud screeches of the simians coming from the overhead branches.

Schoolchildren love to frequent this park that allows them to approach the animals at close range. Witness their fascination at the responses of the monkeys when teased. Their cries and acrobatic antics will make the children hysterical with laughter.

The landscape of this recreational park is fashioned in such a way that the park is situated in a valley bordered by sloping hills. A suspension bridgespans goes across this bridge. Lower down, getting its water supply from the main lake, is a fish pond. If you happen to enter from the Tampin Museum side, you will find a basketball court on your right, and a children’s playground on your left.

Moving on further will lead you to a mini aquarium with various species of freshwater fish. From here, a climb down the slope will lead to the main lake, where you will be rewarded with the sight and smell of hot food and local delicacies offered at the food stalls. Just the ideal spot to quench your thirst while experiencing the freshness and tranquility of the park before taking a stroll along this scenic Tampin Recreational Park. You will not be disappointed.
